A Good Attitude Is Empowering

"The only disability in life is a bad attitude." – Scott Hamilton
Attitude is so important. It is probably the most important thing worth talking about in all the self - help material you will come across. Why; because attitude controls your mind which controlseverything. It's what makes the difference between a good athlete and a poor one; a successful entrepreneur or a failure; a great artist/musician and a poor one. Hamilton, our author today was no stranger to disability; he was two years old when he contracted a mysterious illness that caused him to stop growing. He was misdiagnosed as having cystic fibrosis and was told by doctors at one point that he had 6 months to live. Diet and exercise cured the problem though Hamilton achieved only a height of 5 feet 2 inches in his life-time. He didn't allow disability to stop him. In 1981 '82 and '83 Scott Hamilton won the gold medal in the World Figure Skating Championships, and won the gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics.

But Hamilton is not the only example of men and women overcoming great obstacles in their lives. There is Helen Keller, blind and deaf from a very young age; President Abraham Lincoln who rose from being a bare foot poor boy from Missouri, to becoming a self taught layer who eventually became our 16th President of the United States. The list goes on and on of people defeating the odds against them armed with simply a good attitude. A bad attitude can stop any man or woman's dream.

What is the secret to attaining the great attitude we talk so much about? Art Link letter said it this way: "Things turn out best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out." That i s the magic formula and nothing more or less.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt campaigned from a wheel chair and won the Presidential election
in 1933. He served an unprecedented 4 terms in office from 1933-1945 serving as a handicapped
person serving through some of the toughest times our country has ever seem seen including the
great depression and the 2nd world war.

Hamilton is right when he says the only disability is a bad attitude. A bad attitude can prevent you from getting a job by acting poorly on a job interview, it can break up marriages and drive a person to use street drugs or become chemically Dependant. A bad attitude can keep a beaten house-wife to stay with her brutal husband till he finally beats her to death; it can keep us all imprisoned to our own bonds of self-limitation if we allow it. It makes us all make bad choices in life which leads to nowhere and can make us penniless pawns of society. Having a bad attitude has a bad ending in store for all who choose that road of self indulgence and self pity which is where a bad attitude always leads in the end.

It is best to make the best of your life, what ever the cards are that you were dealt, and put a smile on your face and brave the day, each and every new day. Greet it with a good attitude and watch the difference it makes. Someone once said life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it. That is why having a good attitude is so important. Having a good attitude empowers you and when you are empowered you can empower others you meet. Today give it a try and put on that mask of a good attitude. Yes that’s right, sometimes you will have to fake it till you make but in the long run you will see that having a good attitude will get easier and easier until is comes as second nature to you. Today be empowered and decide to face your day with a good attitude!

Indomitable Spirit- Search a real powers in you…! You CAN…!

"We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions,it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act. “-- Swami Vivekananda
"My name should not be made prominent.
It is my ideas that I want to be realized"Let us do that and almighty will bless our societies It means that whatever may be the depth of the river or lake or pond, whatever may be the condition of the water, the Lilly flower always comes out and blossoms. Similarly, if there is a definite determination to achieve a goal, even against insurmountable problems, he or she will succeed.

The second component is the ability to overcome all hurdles coming in the way of mission accomplishment. Many of us have gone through large programme and projects. We would have experienced that success is not in sight and there are many hurdles. The same poet reminds us at this point of time through another couplet:It means successful leaders can never be defeated by problems. They become master of the situation and defeat the problems. I consider these two kurals characterize the indomitable spirit. I am sure all of you will rise to the occasion and develop leaders enlightened citizens. Thought (dream) gives vision, Vision gives thoughts and thought leads to actions.

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who make excuses and those who get results. An excuse person will find any excuse for why a job was not done, and a results person will find any reason why it can be done. Be a creator, not a reactor.
BE A CREATOR…!
Never compromise to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.... because
they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in
your heart!

CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE… CHANGE YOUR LIFE…!

"You are the most important living person." Take some time and think about yourself. Look at yourself in the mirror and see how long you can stare without walking away. If less than five minutes, then you need an attitude adjustment.
One in a Million.
Think about it, in all of history there has never been another person exactly like you. That's scary. No, I'm just kidding. You are very unique, you are very personal, and you are very emotional. What makes you so unique? It's the sleeping giant that inhabits you.Creating and maintaining a positive attitude is the most efficient and low-cost investment one can make in order to change their life. A positive attitude is a habit and must be learned through repetition and conscious effort on your part.A positive attitude is not dependent upon your genetic composition. It depends upon your decision to face your world with enthusiasm and to create a positive environment. We are faced with millions of challenging situations throughout our personal and professional lives. Many provoke physical or emotional pain and suffering. Can you tell me which of these situations will be made easier by being depressed, critical, bitter, angry or apathetic? None of them. By accepting the reality that we will be faced with many challenges in life, and that we must seek solutions, it becomes obvious that creating and maintaining a positive attitude can only help us. Our problems remain the same size, it does not matter if you react with bitterness or enthusiasm, and it doesn’t change the problem.

What we alter with a positive outlook is our ability to accurately measure the situation and create appropriate solutions. If you choose to maintain a positive attitude you are no longer a helpless victim of circumstance, but an active participant in the creation of opportunities and solutions.
A positive attitude stimulates creativity and creates opportunities.
A positive attitude is one of the fundamental core characteristics of successful people.
A positive attitude will change the way you feel about yourself, your family and your job.
A positive attitude will change the way you approach and solve problems.
A positive attitude will inspire and energize others.
A positive attitude will affect internal physical and psychological processes that eventually
will materialize in your actions.

So Set Your Great Goal for this week, Plan your Week, Day and Time. Definitely You will
see the special Changes but Only If you have the Trust in You and your Mind…!
All The Best Always…!
“What we see depends mainly on what we look for.” - Sir John Lubbock

A MAN IS GREAT BY DEEDS, NOT BY BIRTH..!

"Once you start a working on something, don't be afraid of failureand don't abandon it. People who work sincerely are the happiest."
"The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all direction.

COME ON.... SPREAD YOUR FRAGRANCE...!
Swami Vivekananda meant by "MY GOD THE POOR""...And may I be born again and again, and suffer thousands of miseries so that I may worship the only God that exists, the only God I believe in, the sum total of all souls-and above all, my God the wicked, my God the miserable. My God the poor of all races, of all species, is the special object of worship." Ordinarily, devotional worship, selfless service, meditation, and discrimination are the means to self-purification, so that higher spiritual attitude may develop in the life of sadhaka. But in case of Swami Vivekananda, the attitude of worship of 'God in poor'.
If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other. -Mother Teresa.

LIFE IS THE JOURNEY BETWEEN BIRTH TO DEATH..!IN THIS PERIOD OF JOURNEY.. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO??WHAT IS YOUR ROLE FOR THIS UNIVERSE..!??NO NEED TO DO GREAT THINGS.. JUST DO THE SMALL THIGS WITH GREAT LOVE..!I LOVE EVERYONE...
